Larry, all of these creeks and rivers are accessible to the public. With the exception of one spot, we entered and fished them through public access locations. And even that spot would have been easily accessible by walking the creek or launching a kayak.

You have to give a lot of credit to the Texas Parks&Wildlife Dept. for wanting to share some of the most beautiful water bodies in the State of Texas. Enjoyed fishing with you and CONGRATULATIONS on your record catches. Larryvt: All of the water bodies that we fished are not privately owned. They all have public access.

Yep, I think I saw a few hiding up in the trees along with a mountain lion or two. And Black Bears come up from Mexico to roam that country to. Rough country and the most beautiful in all of Texas, I believe. Oh, and one of the few places in Texas where you may find that your waitress at a local eatery just might be carrying a Big O'l Glock 40 with a couple of clips on his or her hip. Last of the woolly Wild West.
