I know this is kinda like a Ford vs. Chevy topic, but an earlier post got me to thinking. I have been a diehard Home Depot customer for many years. In the last couple of years, I have gone to Lowes when convenient or when HD was out of something. I am slowing becoming more of a Lowes fan because their stores are so much cleaner, nicer and they almost always have what I need. This past weekend, they had good cedar lumber where HD didnt. Maybe Im about to switch over to Lowes, maybe not, but wondered where many of you stood.
LET’S GO BRANDON!!!

I voted HD because its better, but shop more at Lowes because its closer. I think HD has better products so when I want/need a better quality product I go to HD.

To me, Lowes has a better lumber selection. Usually go to Home Depot for everything else.

Home Depot employees seem to be a bit more knowledgeable about their products, to me at least.

Lowes. Its cleaner, more organized and the people there are more helpful.
Finding someone to ask a question in THD is like a mission. And the Mexican lady outside the Lowes has really good hotdogs. You get the hot dog, chips and a canned drink for $3. THD cant touch that.

This. I once stood in line at the flooring department at HD for like 10 minutes before I walked up front to ask where the department worker was. A lady walked out of the office so I asked if she could find that person. She said "I'm that person" I told her I had been waiting for 10 minutes and that there were 3 other people in front of me that had been there longer waiting. Her response was "I don't know what to tell you I was on my break". It was like 8 pm and the store was pretty much empty I thought to myself of all the excuses to give, but at least she was honest I guess..

Lowe's, if I ever had a problem they take care of it. The folks are helpful and friendly. We are regulars..

See in Weatherford the hot dog lady is at HD, same in Watuaga, in Watuaga you can get fajita, quesadilla, hot dogs etc

I shop both they are right across Hwy 77 from each other Its nice having them so close together. What I cant find at one I can usually find at the other. Appliances I usually get at HD.
