What will be the symptoms of my graph if I have a bad transducer? I’ve lost my depth read out as well as my graphics while scanning the water. My gps is working and I can follow my trails. I’m trying to determine if my graph has gone bad or if it’s my transducer. Any input?
When I say I lost my graphics I mean what is showing up is totally incorrect and continually resetting itself.

GPS will be in the unit so a transducer would have no effect on that. Have you checked the wires and connection for the transducer? Look for someone near you that might have the same unit and will hook it up on their boat to check with their transducer.

You might try a device reset (factory reset)

Before you do a factory reset, what kind of graphs do you have? Rob I’m rolling with a gen one 7 inch. I know it’s an older unit but it’s very low mileage and I always bring it indoors after I use it. I’ve been considering the reset but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Have you done the latest software updates and a hard reset? Be sure and save your waypoints first!
