My wife and I fish there every year. We launch at Carson Creek area and head north for bass, usually as far as we feel like traveling and work the main lakes edges and coves on the way back. We take a lunch and fish from daybreak to usually 3-4 pm. We usually use wacky rigs, Ned rigs, Texas rigs and drop shot. I fish top waters the first hour. If a cove is full of fishermen, just leave and go to the next cove. We fish 10 pound fluorocarbon. We usually stay at a rented cabin. Our catch is usually 15-20 large mouth and 5-10 smallmouth. There is great crappie fishing also. If you decide to try for walleye. best area is closer to dam. Best luck.
