I predict the next world record bass will be caught soon. Why, because todays lazy bass are just like humans. Years ago a fat woman was a side show freak. Now a days...not so much. Todays big bass are a bunch of snow flakes that don't work hard for their food. There are tons of boats that go crappie fishing and didnt catch carp. What happens to the unused minnows? Over board as easy food for bass. Lets stock cold water trout in warm water ponds and lakes. What happens to them, the bass eat them like yummy fat enriched hot dogs! Guy and his fishing buddy fishing for catfish and end up with left over chicken livers...again what happens, lets throw it in the water. Minnows gather around it as they chow it down and then a big bass eats it minnows, liver and all. Its like a surf and turf dinner for them. I think instead of catch and release, we catch them, put them through a bass get-in-shape type bass gym and let them go when they have lost a few pounds. It sounds harsh, but in the long run its for their own good.

Wow!!! Maybe the bass you are fishing for dont identify as bass, maybe they think they are crappie and you are now hurting theyre feelings by talking bad about them.

This has gotten out of hand, I'm heading back to the bunker where it's safe.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

Seriously Ive heard this theroy before. Fished a small private pond with a gray beard veteran basser. Guy was and still is a bass whisperer. So on this little pond these bass fight like bananas. Just insanely hard and wild fighters. Asked him about it and he swore bass that had not been hooked or seen other bass hooked and released fight harder that bass who had been caught and released or seen other fish go through this.

Sounded Bull to me but he has caught more DDs than anyone Ive met. Hella of a fisherman.

Could be he was right? Prove he is wrong.
