My daughter just sold the boat I gave her after my wife died. It was a 1980 Lone Star built on a Whaler patent, with a1905 seventy horsepower Yamaha with around 500 hours. She got $2,000. I congratulated her. Thoughts?

They dont make em like that anymore. Probably still a good boat. 1905 is an old motor Bill, did it still run?

Sorry. I edited the OP. She got $2,000. I bought the motor new in 05. I mostly fished the SLP bridge which was a 20 minute round trip.

If its already sold and she did It for you then yes, just appreciate what she did Bill-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

I was thinking between 2-3k when I saw it. Looks like a good, safe, dependable boat. A little underpowered with a 70 hp, but if the motor has been maintained, good deal for both parties.

Not anytime soon. I gave it to her. She towed it all the way back to Orlando behind her Honda Civic hybrid.
