Guess I need to break down and do something. Apparently some juveniles ran thu the neighborhood getting into cars last night. Mine were okay, but I guess I need to do something. I see all of these doorbell things and cameras outside on my neighbors. Any thoughts on who has what and how much the monthly bill would be for monitoring and being able to get alerts to my phone.

Probably cheaper to replace the window in your vehicle IF you get robbed, just don't leave anything valuable in it. So far, I'm going on 49 years with no vehicle break ins.

Get a dash cam for your vehicles too. The collision detection might record them if their break in attempt is unsuccessful. And if it is they might not notice the camera if well placed around your rear view mirror.

I use the ring doorbell, floodlights and regular camera as a baby monitor. I love them. I think it’s a $100 a year if you want to record to the cloud.

I have Arlo cameras. No fees for storing recorded videos for 7 days. You can pay extra and they'll be saved to the cloud. Rechargeable cameras and the charge lasts for months.
They also send alerts to my phone when motion is detected on them.
I can remotely set off an alarm in my house from my phone if needed.
You can also speak with the person in front of your camera via your phone.

I have Smith-Thompson for the house but want to get cameras. My truck lives outside so I have a Clifford alarm with audible glass sensors. The last thing I do before heading to bed is to make sure it is armed.
