I prefer mono on crankbait with 12lb. Big Game in camouflage green my top choice. That line and lb works well for me when throwing CB. If I do have heavy use on a trip I will reload fresh line for the next trip since it's so inexpensive.

8-10 pound mono for me, all day. What's the largest CB you are comfortable throwing on that size mono? Big deep divers seem to stretch 10 lb too much for me , I'm always thinking I'm about to break off just dragging through grass

I keep it simple. 5xd, 6xd 12lb invisx, 8xd, 10xd 15lb Pretty much this. But use Sunline FC Crank 12 and 16. Thinner, softer, and a little more stretch.

12pd FC sniper, crazy cranked, jenko gambler 7'10 all day.
