Hoping to find some long sleeve (pull over or button up)summer fishing shirts that have UV protection, cooling type construction, moisture wicking but won't break the bank! Thought I may be able to find some in a 4th of July sale. Budget is $40 or so on sale - can't afford the ones that sell for around $75...

I started using the Columbia's with the hoods on them. Love them.

"Befuddled" again...retired in Sulphur Springs I get mine off ebay, the cheaper the better as they stain easily... https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...w=long+sleeve+fishing+shirt&_sacat=0

Academy in the clearance section. Usually a lot of pastel colors but I dont care, I fish and cut grass in them.

Yep, Academy and Magellan shirts. Excellent value.

I have 3 of the Magellan shirts from Academy. They do help a lot in the heat but they are tough to get clean if you get any kind of stain on them.
You are not a good or nice person.

Another vote for the Academy Magellan shirts. The stains last forever but they're cheap and cool.

Columbia no hood or hooded. I like hooded when fishing in the spring to help with seeing in the water otherwise no hood and face shield.

I second columbia. The shirt is very light weight and does not make you feel hotter. You can also roll the sleeves up and there is a tab with a button so they will not fall down. If I will be out a long time may wear my long sleeve columbia shirt with sleeves rolled up and if start getting burned then roll the sleeves down.

"Befuddled" again...retired in Sulphur Springs I am not into supporting names and/or brands , I just buy the Hanes long sleeve UPF 50 shirts on their website , on sale now for $9.99 each and they work fine , You can pick different colors , I usually pick the white ones just because they absorb heat .
