Lewisville is tough right now. Buddy fished with a guide and 0 hybrids or sandbass, just 3 catfish. Last weekend we managed one hybrid. Does Hubbard have hybrids?

Almost went to Lewisville tonight. Boat launch parking lot was full, the field next to it was full of trucks and trailers. There was literally a circle of trucks and trailers around the parking lot to park or pick up so I just headed back home. Not sure what I was thinking about going today haha

I planned to head to texoma but called the bait shop and they were sold out. Opted to take the girls to Lavon and chase sandbass.

Twok was tough on Saturday. I think the guides were getting frustrated. No one sat in one in one place long. Neighbor and I think it was that low pressure area that moved in late Saturday. Not good when bait shops at Texoma sell out. That means shad are tough to get. They are probably up in the bushes.

With my four year old and six year old, realistically one hour max is all I will get. I pulled up to Glass House and there were plenty of fish marking so we started fishing there. No one had ever jigged before so set the girls up with a slab and thump buddy and off they went. My 6 year old was a champ and caught about 10 fish, and my four year old caught 6 including about a three pound catfish. Some were small, some were big and we brought home four for dinner. We then drove under the railroad bridge just so my oldest could drive under a bridge. We hit hybrid point and found some fish on top but they scattered quickly so we tried in some deeper water on the side. They were there and we could see them on the graph but the girls were done so we had to call it a day. If you wanted to limit and had time to look for them you could easily catch a bunch.

Great job getting the kids out and actually catching fish. Being able to bring some of their fish home for dinner really makes them feel special. Keep up the good work.

No they are at Lavon. Tarponfly posted a post a long time ago with the places he fishes at. The glass house is a nice house on the north shore. Hybrid point is one of many points...
