Hey Guys and Gals......

I�ve been watching the carp/buff/gar posts here on the forum for years now, but have never posted. I have caught my share of carp intentionally and unintentionally over the years. Don�t get me wrong, I definitely would not consider myself a carp/buff guru or expert. I am however getting more and more curious about all the new (to me) gear and methods. I�ve began to be more and more tempted to start carping again after so many years since I intentionally targeted them.

I am familiar with South & North Lakes Parks in Denton and used to always look for Mike Doran�s posts. Does anyone know if he is still around? Kind of seems to have fallen off the radar.

On that note......Are there any carpers here in the Denton/Far North Texas area?? I am in the Denton/Sanger area and 5 minutes from Ray Roberts. Anyone fish locally to me??

I only know him through others so I can't say with certainty, but I hear he still fishes. Maybe someone with more info or even Mike himself will chime in!

That guy Mike Doran just like TX Multi Species can catch some HUGE FISH!

I'm still in Denton. Taking a little break from fishing after a koi saved my life from cancer.

Up to 11 different freshwater species for big fish awards. But they said I can't have the elite angler award twice! Lol

Not getting the same fishing award twice......That sounds like a pretty good problem to have if ya gotta have one!!!
