I quit making my own after I discovered this. The jalapeños are chopped, taste fresh, and the minced onions have a little crunch. What's your favorite? ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/06/full-50176-16395-image.jpg)

Favorite widely available salsa is Texas Texas They have about ten different varieties, I’ve tried half of them and they are consistently great ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/06/full-30144-16403-740f064b_2457_4811_8362_5c80e9b22024.jpeg)

This thread is painful for me I was going through 2-3 jars of salsa a week I had a problem, my first step was admitting I had one.

My salsa addiction started to affect time with family I’d have to quickly leave the house to go buy more when down to the last jar I was finding excuses to have enchilada, tostada, or taco night 3-4X a week even if my children protested

Have you tried salas? Maybe it’s like chantix for salsa additions.

I almost duplicated the HEB salsa with the last batch I made. I hand chopped the jalapeños and put a full bottle minced onions in there. The secrete was to add the jalapeños at the end. The vinegar and acid in the tomatoes pickled the jalapeños. I was simply no longer willing to seed and chop the jalapeños.
I used it with my breakfast taco each morning and substitute it for Pico by adding cilantro. Cooked cilantro loses its flavor.

Used to be my choice. Due to stomach issues, about as hot as I use now is On the Border salsa. It ain't great, but satisfies my urge.
