How's the fishing on Keepers pier? Any other piers to fish? Any places tucked away out of the wind? The wind has been blowing like crazy!!

Usually it's excellent, but a cold water upwelling may have an impact on trout fishing. Water temps are 81-82 right now when they should be 86-87. I was there in 2016 during an upwelling and the trout flat weren't there, and the water was muddy. Lots of small blacktip sharks though, so a medium shark rig would probably work. If the water clears and warms back up, trout, redfish, ladyfish, and possibly even Spanish mackerel may show back up. Use wire if the ladyfish ad smacks get thick.

I'm not a chick.
