Sooooooo HOT.

I just go tie up in party cove and enjoy the show. Lew spits out DDs every Saturday there and no one talks about it.

They always give me grief when I pull up beside them and start flipping a jig. On a side note, It is hard to flip accurately when you are looking away from your target.

Going to try to get out this week then park it until fall unless there are some cool days in July and Aug. in the low 80's and low wind. fish

You guys are missing out on some big summer bass. I wish we could get a thermocline this year, but with the lakes flooded, I doubt it will happen

I'm 70 years old and still fish at least two times per week. It may be only from daylight till noon or until I burn out but I still make the effort. I'm afraid not to try because if I see how easy it is to just set around the house all of the time ill just quit altogether.

I am having a different engine put on mine after blowing the other one ,I had triple by pass done in may and I am about to go nuts without my boat !!!.Yea it gets hot but heck go fish til noon .Then go watch your golf .These boats cost to much to sit for months at a time.for those who say its to slow on a bite ,go to a tournament you will find it wasn't slow for all .That means your just not doing the right thing out there . You have to pay the price to be successful at this game .The price is high

Mine has been sitting for a month , cant find the crank no start problem . Just before the problem engine would over heat for a few minutes while idle . Not missing it now but will be on water soon . Do not stay all day , just early am till 11:00 . Have to admit its very nice just sitting in front of tv .

Headed back to Fork in a couple weeks and can't wait. Yes it's gonna be hot and I will be flinging a frog early then fish a lot at night as well. Spent a week there in June and me and Mommas best day we caught 22 Bass with the smallest being 4lb and the biggest was a little over 8. This was only 2 days after the Skeeter Owners Tourney.

Well Im only 67 and fished 9 out of 11 tournaments in our club since last August plus many days practicing or fun fishing. At least 3 of those tournaments were in cold, rainy, windy days. One of them was so cold ice was forming at the edge of the water when I launched. I had to turn my reels adjustment down to where I could only make short casts because I couldnt feel my spool with my thumb due to being cold.
Ive won 4, 3 big bass, 1 2nd big bass, 2 3rds, a 4th, and 9th, 10th places. Im 4 points ahead for the year with 1 tournament to go. Hopefully Ill make the top in points for the year. The great guy thats right on my tail is in his mid 20s. Dont guess Im doing too bad for an old codger. Guess its because I could care less for golf much less watching it on tv. roflmao

I forgot to mention the 2 tournaments I missed fishing. One was because my wife had foot surgery the day before one and I stayed home to care for her. The other I was paid up for and it rained about 4 the night before. I hooked up that morning and got the boat about ten feet out the shop door and buried my truck to the axles. Spent the whole morning getting the truck out and boat put back up with a borrowed tractor.
