 Simrad GO7 Display Flashing

After updating to the most recent software the screen on my Simrad GO7 flashes on and off. The only thing I can find online is power fluctuations. I'm hooked up to a bench 12V power supply so that I could connect to the internet inside the hose instead of sitting on the boat in the driveway, so I'm confident I have a steady 12V. When I powered it up to download the upgrade it did not flash. Any ideas? Reset? Hard Reset?

back up wits and try a hard rest on the unit. What type of power supply you using inside your house.

I did a reset and a hard reset to no avail. I installed on the boat and powered up and it worked fine. Afterwards I reattached to the power supply in the house and it now works fine. Don't quite get it but it seems to be working. Power supply is similar to this one: Power Supply
