Any info/suggestions/recommendations on this marina? Good food? have gas?decent ramp? rv camping?

Yes to all of your questions. I believe they have RV sites with individual boat docks.

Yes to everything, but I would fill up before I get there. I have never gone beyond the boat ramp so I can speak to the RV sites, but I have spoken with people who were staying there that seemed to be happy with the sites and marina.

There are also new camp sites at The Boulders next to concession number 2. They have non-ethanol gas on the water as well. Several of the sites are on the water. You can beach your boat, but beware of rocks.

I think you are talking Concession 1 near the dam. I walk twice a week at Concession 2 (The Boulders). As it has been renovated and with what they are doing there it is a vastly superior facility to Concession 1. If I belonged to an out of town bass club fishing a tournament or was planning a stay on Lake Tyler, I'd stay there. In addition to RV parking they now have four or five nice prefabbed cabins. The launch is off to the south but on the same property. As stated you have to be careful where you pull a boat up on the shore but the place is really nice. The burger is still a draw at Concession 1.
