My brother has a 2017 Ford 250. with 26,000 miles. He was going about 70 MPH when he hit a little wasboarb spot in the road, went shaking out of control, luckily no one coming towards him. Scared him, thought truck was coming apart. He looked on the internet and this seems to be fairly common.

Pretty common on super duties and dodge hd trucks. Watched a f250 slam the inside wall on 121 after he hit a bump coming off a bridge and lost control.

Had a jeep a few years back. would get DW. I took the lift out of it (leaving only a leveling kit) fixed it.

Is the truck lifted?

A lot can be done in the alignment from what I hear on HD trucks. Also if it is lifted the front end parts may already be worn out.

I would consult youtube.

My old Jeep would do it when I would hit a pot hole or rough section of a road.
I finally fixed the problem by getting rid of it!

Just one more cast!

Look at emblem on the front of the truck, then youll realize what the problem is.

It's not lifted, and his 03 never did it.

It's a misspelling of washboard.

I experienced that in my 2013 F250 a couple times. Very scary. I took it into the stealership, they replaced some front end suspension components, don't recall exactly what, but it hasn't happened since.

My Dodge truck was doing it and I replaced all the tie rod ends and it fixed it. It's a 2008 with a 3 inch lift

most of these (especially jeeps) are caused by dealer slapping ridiculous not properly done lifts on them. My buddies jeep was dangerous until he just took it off.
