The dam is all I can think of. Sandy has some rocks on the south shoreline too I believe

Any bridge and use google earth and look for main lake banks or points where the waves are usually bad so the homeowner added the rocks.

The dam. But, there are some restrictions I believe now. There are buoys marking a certain distance from the rip rap that you have to be off plane, and idling. Then you are not allowed closer than 50' of the rip rap/bank. Years ago in the 70's you could park on the dam and walk to fish. It was a great place to catch stripers. Things changed after 9/11.

Here's some regulations from the SRA.

Thanks for all the input. I had a hard time finding the bridges, but the Google Earth trick works. Thanks again.

Well I've read some replies and they don't seem satisfactory and I don't have a lot of help but farther up the lake just south of Palo Gaucho or on the other side just north of Cypress Bend and south of Slaughter there are a lot of rocks that have spalled off the shoreline and essentially set up a rocky bottom along the shoreline. On the Palo Gaucho side the water goes from shallow to deep quickly but there are a few rocky knobs along that shoreline.

There is nothing in Sandy creek. Mostly mud hole.

Thanks for all of the info. I am looking for some different stuff to fish and Riprap is a favorite of mine.

Some call it mill/clear/copperas/sandy..... whichever you prefer it's the one above buck creek. Definitely has a hard bottom shoreline on the south side

decent stretch of riprap/docks just north of Kites landing, more boulder/asphalt chunk than riprap though.
Another small area on south side of Pirates Cove before you get to the ramp as well as further south before you get to bird island.
