Haven't seen anything about the fishing on lake Nocona in a while. I haven't fished it a long time and was thinking about giving it a try this weekend. Any info would be great. Thanks

Water is extremely muddy and fish must be scattered everywhere. Fished Saturday and Sunday and didnt get a bite.

This lake was a true gem back before they killed the grass. I remember some of the biggest stringers I ever weighed coming out of there. Friend caught a 10 in a tournament there. Had to of been mid 90s

Been fishing Nocona my whole life. It had a wonderful spawn this year. Havent fished it since the spawn but saw a bunch of big fish. In one day caught around 50 bass between me and partner and had a best 5 of 28 lbs. This lake is making a come back and it is doing it with style! and with the new ramp fees coming its not going to have the pressure that is has had over the last few years.

fished today about two hours. caught five bass on worms. no big ones. it was really windy out of the east. main lake was a good color, smaller tributaries were muddy. remember when you load your boat up... dont park on the ramp to get your boat ready to go down the road. (20 minutes later). its not just your boat ramp

They raised all of the docks to plastic covered floats, not straight styrofoam, so they are now higher. Higher than most rub rails. Youre gel coat will take a beating.
