50 lb would be dark green. For my finesse rigs, I like yellow or bright green with a fluoro leader.

50lb braid was the OP criteria, that has to be for either frogging or pitching/flipping.. or some other soft plastic application. I think dark green or some dark color is required for that. Finesse apps could be other colors.. especially for weightless wacky where its important to see the line for bites.. I like the yellow 15lb braid for that rig. I deep crank with 30lb green braid with a 12lb fluoro leader.

my 2 cents

Red!! It disappears in a few feet of water.

Thats why red cranks and plastics suck. The bass cant see them. Also why red trebles are so great! Think about it mates.

Bruh how am I supposed to know? What I do know is the people who make and sell red fishing line, like Cajun or what not, they say red is the first color in the spectrum to disappear under water and after a few feet it cannot be seen.

So they much be picking up on the scent and vibration of those crawfish because we know they cannot see red past 2 feet deep.

The red line does not disappear, just stops looking red as the depth increases.

Thank you!!!!!!! All those color studies especially in the 80s with the Color-C-Lector all talk about what COLORs disappear at what depths. The line does not disappear it just appears basically black. Red rattle traps do not become invisible at a certain depth they just do not appear red(to a human eye or camera) anymore. Want to use a the bait that holds it color regardless of depth? Fish black worms. They still catch fish!!!!!!!!!

Explain this then?!

Look a fishing line company says red is invisible at 3 feet. And yall wanna debate it? They can only print facts. Red disappears.
