Well. . . One of these days I will travel further than my Ray Hubbard ramp 15mins from the house. But, when ya have a day like today, why do I need to go further. Caught about 40, and kept 16. Had a few 13", and one that was 15". Caught them under the bridges, and one 13" on my one lone brush pile that I discovered.

I just hate fishing under the bridges. Its so loud. I would LOVE to have some peaceful outings like SK! ! ! But, I brought home some fish, ready for the frying pan! ! ! partyon

You have to get out and spend time scanning to find new places.

Yep. . . I have been doing a lot of scanning lately. Trying to find the BPs and LayDowns with fish on them. I'm trying, but they just seem to be elusive. I found an old sunk bridge a couple of weeks ago with what appeared to be a TON of fish, but doggone it if I could get them to bite. I thought I had hit the jackpot! ! ! I don't know if I am just not over the fish when I drop the line. That is also something I am still trying to perfect. Check this out. Are those fish I am seeing?

Looks like fish to me. Fish get like that this time of year and don't want to bite. May try dropping a minnow on them.

Yeah, water clarity is normal color. Its not dirty, by any means. I have been spending a lot of time following contours with my Navionics App. I just havent found a whole lot on my own. I think its time to start putting out my own homemade brush piles.

I here that a green tree growing on the bank makes a great BP. Cut it down, drag it behind the boat to desired location and zip tie a $1.75 cinder block to it. Instant BP in about 20 minutes. This activity is best done on a week night when other crappie fisherman are home. Or, at least, that's what I was told.

Jezreel, that's what a cooler is suppose to look like. Bridges are noisy but they are not hard to find. LOL Save a few for me. Fished Lake Fork a few weeks back caught some nice 2# Crappies by the bridges. Wish l could say the same for Lewisville still doing ok.
