Im looking for a bait holder style hook for catching channels...the eagle claws are brittle and frequently break off when I try to rotate with pliers out off a fishes mouth....I dont like treble hooks either..
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

I just use a classic Mustad 3366. It's more an all around hook, but great for bait as well. The price is right as well.

I use Mustad Ultra-point hooks. The 94140 J Live Bait hooks are very strong. Or they come in circle hooks. Very sharp right out of the package.
