Nothing more to say. Installed it after its sat here for months and no joke saw fish when I turned it on..
Watched a bass come out of grass smack my swimbait and go back down with it feeling like nothing more than the grass I was in.
Caught two fish positioned under a lay down that I saw first..
Used it with my 360 on at the same time, there is a bit of interference on the 360 but so minimal I am not even going to look for a solution.
I was on a very grassy algea filled lake today so unsure how far out youll be able to see your lure with todays conditions I was seeing my lure usually a plastic 10-13 feet away from the ducer.
I barely know how to turn the unit on, the only adjustment I did was fumble around until I could max the brightness and put my livescope view in one of the memory buttons.

You have the 360 mega mounted with it? Could you send me some pics of the set up?

So much fun, except for the resource! Too easy, fish has no chance!

Its about 3 inches below the surface of the water.. same place Ive always had it, its just under enough if I have a co. The livescope ducer is on my tm shaft about 3 inches above my motor it works great there.

Thanks I have about half inch of shaft showing above the ultrex head, which has a collar. so 3 inches would be from top of motor to the pivot of the mount. I am guessing it would work even better a little higher but I wanted it as far away from my 360 as possible.

Anything goes when out having fun, but I really don't understand how these can be allowed in tournaments. I was on a guide boat and got to see it in person.
The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

I questioned that also, being that Ive never been into any form of tourneys until the last 3 years.. In fact I bought mine about 6 weeks ago and been slow on the install because I wanted to feel out my local clubs.. I brought it up in conversation to both my local clubs to feel out their response and both said it was the same way when side imaging came out.....

Would you mind posting some pictures from what you are seeing on the screen? I'd love to see this newer technology.

Its no joke they all look exactly the same, I turned it on at the ramp and there were blue gill on the screen swimming around. I only fished with it yesterday but I learned its insane how slow you have to reel to keep a spinner bait ticking the grass... when I barely move my shakey head with a spinning shakey head rod that sucker is popping 1-1.5 feet off the bottom.. And it confirmed with my un pegged 1/16 tungsten weight on a craw with salt they separate each time you pop it and it takes a lot longer to reach bottom again than I thought.. Not saying Im changing my techniques just yet, but it was interesting to see how these presentations are in the water. I cant wait to see on a gravel or mostly bare bank, I may very well end up with all my rods on deck watching stuff.. haha

I was worried it would take time to figure out like the 360 did. But its idiot proof turn it on, bumble around a little for the distance and your golden. There is some other adjusting Ive read about today but I cant see it making it much better.. I am thinking I need to go get a crappie rod about 12' to keep on the deck... Something I had no idea about is I guess the garmins come with navionics loaded on them, it had 1 foot contours for my lake as well as all the local man made structure that I had to load into my helix units via a gpx download made available by iowa parks.
