Been a long time coming but I will throw this out here if anyone is interested in trying their hands on striped bass fishing.

Planning to launch at no later than 0445 hours and fish till noon, maybe earlier.

Please be able to cover distances, plan on at least 5 miles round trip.

Not looking for quantities but quality fish. 30 inches or bust!

Negative on trolling. I rely on my electronics 100% of the time.

Imho, trolling takes the fun out of fishing. Learn the seasonal pattern and you should be golden.

Those that are interested lmk, I'll try to get some blue gills for bait since shad is hard to come by on the lake. If you need artificial lures I should have plenty just lmk in advance so I can bring extra.

Will be fishing SHALLOW(less than 6ft) first couple of hours before moving to ledges.

Top water plugs if that's your thing. Me, I'll be throwing slabs or sassy shad.
