I am headed to Cedar Creek Lake next weekend for a few days. I know there are lots of shallow humps to look out for and shoreline stumps but aside from that are there any hazards or stumps on the main lake on the southern half to watch out for? I am really curious about the flats/humps south of crappie island and the middle of Caney and Clear creeks up to the bridges? Any info would be appreciated.

The north side of the 198 bridge in Carney. Has large chunks of concrete. Im not sure but probably 3-4 pilings out. Pass through the bridge near the middle.

The main lake humps south of crappie island are way deep.

From 334 bridges south to dam is wide open on main lake except there are some points on the east side that come out a loooong way. Just stay wide towards middle if running east bank and you will be fine. Used to night fish the Cedar Creek boat house lights many years ago for sandies and blacks and remember running at night when lake was several feet low and a friend found one of those shallow points running on plane a couple hundred yards out from bank. Lake is full.....just stay wide. North of 334? On your own!

Thanks for all the info. I will probably fish the south 1/3 of the lake. I was looking at an arial of the area before the lake was built. The southern end has a lot of trees back then. I read somewhere a couple of days ago they bulldozed most of the trees before filling the lake.
