Sooo, my 100 year old grandpa and I are looking to catch some ditch pickles not this Saturday, but next Saturday. Preferably 5 solid keepers before 3 PM. Not looking to stir, but we could use some pointers(or way pointers!). I still havent found the windmill yet.

C-Rigged pink buzz baits by the damn has been my secret in 27' of water but the boat needs to be in 22' or the 31 hole...

With the lake at this level, I am expecting to catch them in Hydrilla beds at 110 feet! On a weightless senko, no doubt. Only problem is, in an 8 hour tournament you can only make 8 casts using this technique. It is a SLOW fall and retrieve! sleep tired popcorn tired sleep fish

Yea but when your 5 fish total 45 pounds who cares? Those 9 pounders love a slow falling senko...

Hey guys, I'll be fair here. I love to stir!

Fishing was good, this week. Lake 6 ft above pool, letting water out. The early bite was on, and it shuts off just as quick. Shallow flooded brush was holding decent fish, and i mean SHALLOW. Fishing got tough after 10 am, slower presentations on deeper timber brought back the day. You can pick up some fat spotted bass on the flooded rocks around the parks. Bass champs will be interesting!
