Good video. Thumping absolutely works, especially on schooling fish. With colder water, it's a must. It will help to not only draw sluggish fish in, but keep them there as well.

If I could find the person that sells those I would buy one for sure.

I have had a Thumper for 2 years , if you want more fish in the boat , this is one tool you want to buy . My Thumper plugs into the cig. Lighter . Also the remote is a cool option. Depending on the time of year, there are many times you can watch your locator will be blacked out with fish ! ...............It works year round ! lol

They work really well year round but I typically stop thumping when the water temps rise above 60 degrees. Then at about 65-75 and up I start using a splasher because I am usually using live bait by that time.

I have been thumping for over 10 years manually . Purchase a mechanical thumper and the game gets much easier. I have found that thumping in shallow water does not work, shallow as in 20 ' or less.

Way to go Eric, on your fist video. I see you did some mods to the design and it seems to bring in the huge schools of Hybrids.
