So, I'm slowly accumulating a lot of big 6"+ hard baits, like Halcos, SP minnows, poppers, etc...

For now I have them in a couple of big plano boxes, but is there a better system for this? They don't fit/pack very well in the Plano box, but I'm not sure how else to manage lures with that many big trebles.

The Sterilite plastic storage boxes work well. I have 4 that go in a larger box. Will take some photos later today.

I use the Sterilite boxes to organize my storage compartments on the boat. These boxes go in the storage compartment under my leaning post seat. I use bigger boxes under the console. I use Plano boxes and tackle bags as well, but these have really helped me get the boat organized.

Those are 4 3/4" Hydro Poppers on the left and 6" Hydro Minnows on the right, just to give an idea of size.

I really like this idea to have an individual tube and not have to worry about tangling up treble hooks. I don't think I could live with labeling them though. I'd like to find some clear tubes or at least caps.

I've used paintball pods with the snap top. They are a couple bucks a piece. I think the 140-150 size fit a 18 mag rapala. You would just have to see what fits. Never found a good way to org the tubes. I just kept them in a milk crate and dumped them into a hatch on the boat.

Hm. The are good solutions for in home/in boat organizing, but I was looking more for jetty fishing, where you kind of have to carry everything with you.

I bought a plano jig wrap that hold everything I have now. We'll see how it works out in practice. Although, frankly, if I went out with just a bunch of 2-3oz spoons I'm not sure I would actually do any worse.
