I recently moved to DFW (Savannah/Aubrey on 380). Haven’t fresh water fished in a long time and never in the south as I was always near salt and prefered that. I recently purchased a yak and was looking for some places to launch near by and any fishing advice for the area. I miss fishing for reds/trout! Im hoping I can fill the void with something here!!

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Lot of the parks are closed due to high water... You can find a few places to launch from random shoreline where you can park near by for now. Wind blown points for white bass and hybrids if you want to go that route!
