I Fished with Greg today. I thing he will be in the market for a livescope soon. We had a lot of fun, Kept 36 nice crappie and threw several more keepers back. I still get a kick out of watching a crappie bite my lure.

Most of our fish came on plastics but I tried a few minnows just to see what would happen, The fish bit them fine but no better than the jigs. Fun to do something different for a change.

We found active fish on brushpiles and timber (underwater) everywhere we went. Most were in 20'-25' deep water. Quick to bite at first but slowed down after 4-5 fish. We moved on even though the fish were still there. Wanted to try as many different ways and places that we could by noon.

Perfect day to fish, no wind at all, got a bit hot.

Fishing tomorrow and Tuesday. Taking Monday off to rest up.
