Has anyone been there and fished it in the last two weeks? I going over in a few days and would like to know where to start, not your honey holes. I saw on Texas Insider fishing reports that bass were in the bush and around docks but how old is that information.

RC has gotten lots more rain, water fairly clear for as much rain as we have gotten. As of today water 71-82 degrees and about a ft high, some bass in flooded grass as well as lots of Carp and Gar. Brush all over lake in just about all coves and on points. You have to cover lots of water and locate the brush or grass they are holding in, then find the bait they want.

I was out there over Memorial Day weekend. It was a little slow. Most all of my fish came around boat houses with senkos and shady brush with white spinnerbaits.

I had a killer day on RC a few weeks ago. Quality bites, all on Texas rigs. Big fish went 11lbs! Better bites came in 6-12 FOW

Seems like Richland chambers is always a grind. But it has some great quality It's got to be better than Tradinghouse. I read someone fished TH for 5 hours and only got one fish, I was there two weeks ago and 3 hour with out a bite.

It's been 20 years since I fished R.C., So I do not know how it is now, but back then it was great, or terrible. But it's got to be loaded with BIG standing pecan tree stumps, not too far under water.

RC still has the large tree stumps under the water and still no boat lanes. The water is now about two ft high and stained to North and West where water istill coming in. Water temps 71-84 degrees depending on air temps and sun, Fishing has been slow to fair this week with fish scattered in flooded grass as well as flooded brush, some from bank to 10ft of water. Fish should change to summer pattern soon where fishing points and creeks with Crank baits, Carolina rigs, jigs fished will produce.

Last I heard it was closed. Getting to midway is pretty easy. Between there and the railroad it gets a little tricky.
