I used fresh cut mullet on 20lb test with a steel leader. Took me about fifteen minutes to get him in. My buddy thought it was a stingray the way it seemed to be stuck.

very nice fish , i have been planning a trip to the pass for 3 weeks, think i just MOVED IT UP to the top o the list hahahahaha.
again , great fish from shore in any bodies book.....
how many pounds was it ????.
