We launched at Isle du Bois on Sunday at daylight only 3 trailers there, parking lot was nearly full by the time we called it a day at noon. Even with the swim beach closed there were cars lined up from the guard shack to 455 waiting to get in. It didnt mess up the lake though, with the wind howling all the pleasure boaters were stacked up down by the Dam. The fishing was good, took a little while to figure out what they wanted and how they wanted it but once we did it was on! Best 5 pushing 20lbs and a shot at a big one, broke her off at the boat.

I launched at Jordan yesterday. Ramp was not too busy for a holiday. Wind was from the SE to the ramp was protected.
See you on the lake and have a great day!

Can not figure out how to get bit in the bushes Me neither. There were bushes close by but these fish were not in them.

Can not figure out how to get bit in the bushes Me neither. There were bushes close by but these fish were not in them. I was out there Sunday afternoon. Jordan ramp wasn't too bad considering. Anyway, look for bushes closer to steeper banks or where there isn't much water behind them or bushes on any point or secondary point. They help position the fish near the outside edges. Otherwise they have way too much room to roam. Chatterbait and swim jig was working for me. After a while you could call your shot where you would get a bite.

I launched Saturday and Sunday morning from Jordan. Sunday was a better day for bites. The fish weren't in the bushes but on the sides of points that dropped out into deeper water (15' or 20'). It wasn't necessarily Main Lake points but anything with a little bit of wind on it produced. If I ran into bait and/or white bass feeding I would get bit.
I had a nice catfish on that I would have liked to bring home for the fryer but it came off at the boat.
