When the water gets that good summertime green tint to it, go big. Full size green pumpkin brush hog with the tail chartreused. It's a pain to throw, but it will load the boat.

Interesting, the only time I ever throw a c rig its for that big bite and a lazy slow way to fish. I use 12-14inch worms. Never thought about using some of the smaller stuff above.

Was always a ring fry bait and a baby brush hog. Now days it hard not to c-rig a 5" M-Pack Shad.

Thanks All. This gives me some new baits to try out. I tried the chartreuse pepper bubble fry on my last trip, but I couldn't stick to it. That thing just looks so ridiculous in the water. :-) I'll have to put it on again until I get some confidence in it. Too many people mention the fry baits not to use them more.

Id keep using it if I were you.
