I'd be in for it. 1st Responders (PD) vs 2nd Responders (FD). PD will let FD know when the lake is safe.

Unless its shift change at the PD then you get zero response for an hour or so...

I�m sure PD will be blocking the entrance to the weigh-in as usual lol, sounds like a good idea!

I'm in. They do something like this each year. They have the Texas Police games and Firefighter games. Fun times

send me ideas on lakes and dates and i will start trying to put something together. we had a couple of tournaments like this about 6 years ago and they were fun. but the truth of the matter is, you would have to wake up the FD from their recliners, turn off the PS4 and TV... Then they will respond....

I am thinking that it is something that is going to take place in the fall of this year or spring of next year. I would like to get some sponsors on board and maybe make it where we can have a good payback with some sponsorship money and give the entry fee money to a charity. i would like to make the lake one that is full of fish and fishes different ways so that everyone could catch fish. i want to include retirees, and active police and firemen.i would entertain active duty military and retirees also if that is what the majority wants. i want to see this be a annual event and maybe have a traveling trophy with what organization won that year on it. call me with ideas and such to help me put this together.

Any first responder (current or retired) and any military (current or veteran).... better turnout and more for sponsors to get on board with. May see if bass champs or one of the other larger trails would be interested in getting behind it. I know fun n sun does a lot too in the area for bass fishing and charities. I run a similar event in az every year. Much smaller group of fishermen than in tx. I have some sponsor contacts I can pass on and I will be there to fish.
