My dad and I are heading out to either Toledo Bend or Sam Rayburn tomorrow. Which lake would you pick and why?

flip a coin & go, they close enough u could fish one for a half day & go fish the other one for the other half.

Rayburn! Toledo's size is down and rayburn has been hot the past couple of weeks. Just make sure you have boat lanes to get around the lake safely as they are unmarked unlike toledo

Any advice on areas for Rayburn? I havent fished it in a couple of years.

Have you been to Toledo lately? I'd say it's high and muddy! Almost 1' high and the record high level is only 2.4' above pool!  Rayburn is 5.5' high and rising daily!

at 5.5ft high u don't need boat lanes on Rayburn just watch for floaters.. I'd stay south on Toledo.
Last week anywhere u go you'll catch fish the challenge was finding size for me.
