 Temple Fork Rod problems???

I have recently bought a TFO Pacemaker 747, seems to be a popular rod from what I can tell. I bought it for throwing large jigs and magnum shakey heads. I bought mine from Tackle Warehouse and noticed something rattling in the handle. Figured that wasnt normal, so I returned it and TW sent me another and had the same issue. This time I took it to TFO in Dallas and they said it was a piece of epoxy that had busted lose between the cork and the blank. They didnt have any 747s in stock so I was gonna return it and try again.... just got the rod back yesterday and it has the same issue. So Im wondering if anyone else has had the same problem? Also for what I want to use the rod for, does anyone have any rod suggestions if I cant get this resolved. I like TFO but eventually this has to be resolved, TFO has excellent customer service from what Ive experienced but never have the 747 in stock to switch out in person. What would you do in my situation?

The only one I've bought had problems too few years ago, returned to tacklewarehouse and have bought other brands since.
