Had the bites to do well just could not get them hooked up! Weighed in 3. Thanks to my partner for carrying us I basically had nothing. Frog fishing is crazy! We did see the winners off and on a few times so were in the right area just no execution on our part! Got a bruise on my stomach in the shape of a frog from a hookset that missed! How did you guys do?

We had a decent day, hit 2 areas, we had never been to Tawakoni before. Caught all our fish in 1 of those areas and culled ounces quite a few times. We had a few blowups that didn't connect but nothing that we felt would have helped us. Ended up 12th with 16.46.

We had a great time. The first 2 hours of the day were just awesome. We just couldn't get a big bite. Culled 4 times but our 3 smallest were cookie cutter 2.25# fish. Had 5 for 13.84. Felt like we had a big one on twice and both got off. Looking forward to Ray Bob and the crowds around Hole 31 and other community holes. banana

Same thing for us.... We had the bites, but only landed one keeper. Tawakoni was pretty hard on us! Congrats to everyone that got a check....

We culled twice with our biggest at 5 and only finished with 12.3 for 52nd. Even after the clouds went away we caught all of ours on a frog with the biggest being caught after noon. Missed a ton of fish and lost 2 good ones at the boat.

I don't understand your obsession with hole 31??? You have mentioned it a few times now, weird for sure. You and Chad just need to get out there and practice and you will be ok..... Unless he is listening to an ATM game.

Culled a few times and lost a big one in a bush and another broke off on the hookset that felt like a stud for sure. Finished with 5 for almost 13 pounds but felt like it could have been so much better.

WE had 13.90. 33rd over all.. couldn't cull a rat..

Once the sun came up it slowed down for us big time...

Oh poor Jake. You have to know the Hole 31 thing goes waaayyy back on this forum as well as around the dock talk at Ray Bob. I doubt we will be anywhere near 31 on that day. Fuller and I will definitely get 3-4 days of practice in for this one since we've stunk it up so far this season and last for that matter. Any time, you, Jerry and Chad are all ahead of us in AOY standings, something isn't right.
