I microwave catfish often. I coat b.c. the fillet bn in mayo add some salt and microwave 5 minutes. It tastes very good. I realize it is different from my normal cornmeal and peanut oil deal but I like them. M th wife does not like fish every week so I cook for myself.

Stubby i will be by in the next two weeks. My kids are moving and taking my time now. I sure hate to see my grandkids moving to Chicago. Well I don't plan on living there but I took a guy from there to fork and he was telling me how good fishing GB was there. Then he saw how good it was at fork and i heard less good fish stories about Chicago.lol

#1 on the claw hammer...that is how my dad taught me 60+ years ago....didn't turn it sideways though, just popped them on the top and left a nice dent. That was usually followed by nailing the head to a 2 X 6 to make the cleaning easier. I guess we won't see a video of that method on the next Barbara Walters special.

Used a claw hammer for years until my uncle made me a shocker. It works great if you have electricity near by. He had a friend that had a catfish farm and learned the trick from him. I was pretty nervous about using it the first time or 2. Lol
