I came across a big school of longnose gar on a recent trip and wanted make a short 2 minute video showing what they look like so the few gar fisherman can target them while us hybrid/striper guys know to move on! They were hitting the surface for about an acre area so I knew without a doubt they were longnose gar in the 2-4 ft range.

Ye sir , scaled fish will show a bright return on Lowrance side image as well. The large amount of red in the sonar lets you know , a large bone head is present. Good tip Clay. Nothing like boiling water to set your top water adrenaline full throttle.
