Looking at getting a New Mercury 90 hp four stroke. Will old mercury 2 stroke controls work with this engine or will I have to buy new controls?

I've 'heard' it should be same wiring, but how old is your current motor?

They will work only thing may have to get a wiring harness to go from old to new style
