Anyone have experience with SEI aftermarket lower units?

I have a 2003 Yamaha OX66 150 that needs the lower unit replaced or rebuilt - gears are stripped and not sure what else may be damaged internally.

New SEI lower unit - $895
New OBR lower unit - $1800
New Yamaha lower unit - $2600

The SEI comes with a three year "no fault" warranty. I've read mixed reviews but it sounds like they don't hold up well under heavy load. Maybe with 150 hp and 22' boat one would hold up ok.
Also considering putting the SEI lower unit on so that I can sell the engine and buy a new F150. Hard to know what to do. I'd hate to spend $900 and get junk.

3 year no fault warranty

Literally pull the old bolt on the new. I've had one going on 3 years now and beaten on it pretty good, still running. At 900 you can throw one away every 3 years.

I have an SEI on my OX66 200. An easy change out, just do the break in correctly, 4 years and still going.
