I have a 2007 Skeeter ZX250 and over the past few years the post for the back chair has started to wobble due to the mount being loose. The bolts holding the base are in a very awkard place to access in the rear compartment without taking the charger and a few other things out. If they can be tightened from the top, the carpet around the base would have to be cut.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

I had a 99 skeeter that did the same thing.Find a young double jointed long armed person. I wound up cutting the carpet and gluing it back after the process. I took a big thick washer and drilling holes in it to match the bolt pattern the bolts went through the washer and a lock nut was put on each bolt. Sold it last Sunday and it was still holding. The process was a btihc.

Check from bottom to see of bolts loose, if so just use a phillups screw driver on top and a 1/4 drive socket on bottom, don't have to cut carpet if you get right size screw driver

This is what I did on my Skeeter. You will need to poke a correct size phillips screw driver through the carpet on top and then tighten the nuts on the bottom. It is a huge pain--and a common problem on those Skeeters. If you do it carefully, you will never know that you poked the screw driver through the carpet. Prepare to be frustrated. Bring two screw drivers; you will throw the first one across the yard.
