No, not that kind. What weed is this in my bermuda and what will kill it..besides roundup. I don't think 2,4,D will effect it either. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/05/full-30119-11825-20190514_103325.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/05/full-30119-11826-20190514_103504.jpg)

You will have to either kill the whole plant and surrounding grass by using roundup or dig it out. In the future pursue-a good pre emergent regimen.

I have something similar in my yard, I thought it was crabgrass too, it's pretty easy to pull though. The crabgrass I had back in MS you pretty much had to dig that [censored] up.

In my yard, if it's green it's grass, if it blooms, it's a flower. No such thing as a weed, it's all ground cover.
You can use roundup. Just put on rubber gloved. Wet the fingers of the gloves with the round up and then manually apply to the broad leaves. Or use a q-tip. That will just kill the broad leaf and not the bermuda grass.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I have a bunch of crabgrass in one area of my St. Augustine lawn...more than I want to dig up. If I use a good pre-emergent this fall and again in early spring, will it take care of it for next year?

My yard used to get these, and it was worse each year. Finally I decided to spend the boring days of winter pulling it all. About 2 seasons of doing this, it disappeared.

I know I have told y'all the only way to get rid of CG. I'm not saying it again...
Ok one more time.
You have to dig it up, boil it for 15 minutes, eat it, than [censored] it into a fire.

If you can wait until after it rains or water it good first to get the soil moist then pull it. I find a few of them occasionally, because the neighbors are Emits relatives or they think exactly like him regarding grass, weeds and flowers. You may need a fork like this to pop it up if you can't grab all the stems and pull. Or wait until it gets HOT out and then MSMA (arsenic). ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/05/full-1606-11862-wwed.jpg)
