Is either worth an hour plus drive to fish? I've never been to either.

I hear Limestone is a under raeted lake. Never been but going this summer.

Looks like a lot of us from the Waco area will going to these lakes because all our lakes are flooded out. I fished Limestone a couple year back and know it is a stumpy lake. Be careful about running it. I assume Fairfield is a lot like Tradinghouse, I have never been there.

Where is it safe to run at Limestone?

Same for Fairfield.

Never been to either.

If You've never been to either, definitely try Limestone first. A little off color but easier to pattern the fish. CR baby brush hogs and medium depth cranks were good last weekend.

Limestone is not a easy lake to run. Lots of stumps everywhere
