Looking for a good 6 inch swimbait to throw. Preferably top hook. What colors? Brand? Recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I still prefer the 6 1/2" Yum Money Minnows myself.

What depth? Hollow-belly, solid, jointed, soft, hard ?

Little Creeper Baits. Can get them at Tackle Warehouse. Everything mentioned above is great but these things are awesome when you need to work a swimbait painfully slow.

Top hook? Look at osprey options

The wild eye swim shad works great on striper and Mexico bass but no love in the states

The 5" Storm Wild eye shad will kill the deep fish on Fork in the summer. When they're on bottom.

I am looking for a recommendations for around a 6 inch soft , top hook, soft body to fish shallow. I have never throw a swim bait by it self and dont really know where to start with so many options. These things are expensive from what I have seen. I was looking at the Huddleston swimbaits.
