First - If we have a good thread already on this please point me toward it
I am starting to look at replacing the marine batteries. I figure almost everyone that has a fishing boat will be in the market for them at some point.
What do you consider the best battery at the best price? I see some interesting batteries that seem to have excessive prices and some with low prices that make me question quality. On the surface all batteries are made in a similar fashion it would seem. So what makes one better than another?

Not a challenge just trying to understand. I can find marine batteries in the $100 range, The Duracell seems to be in the $200 range and the 2x is $400. What make the price difference worth the purchase?

AGM is glass mat. Do they have any problems with the Genius onboard charging systems?

No problems, I have a 4 bank Genius outboard charger and use the Duracell batteries.
