shallow around structure. grass, timber, ect. those are a good starting point anyway

Man, I always stick with open water. Never can find them in the creeks.

Fish shallow 2-5 ft as long as the lake is rising flooded timber, grass. They are looking for new food . But when it starts to fall then try next to the open lake.They will still be in the flooded stuff but closer to the lake.

Creeks right now in my area are flooded and have been for over a month = pescados! Shrimp and hand dug worms

I fish main lake most of the year. Now I vary depth between 2 ft and 45 ft depending on what the fish want.
