Fished three days in the Keys for Tarpon, lots of fish moving on the Ocean side when the tides were right. Saw some singles, pairs, Strings and a few Meatballs. At the end of Day 2, I had a fish break off from its group, following my bug, watched the eat, strip, rod tip in the water, couple of the standard big (magical to me) Tarpon jumps, followed by the fastest my flyline and backing has ever gone off a reel. It was singing. Have caught Tarpon before...but never on a fly rod. That's got to be some kind of crazy experience...
