Hey, I have a group of about 10-15 people, & we all want to go on a private chartered fishing trip in TX this june.. Does anyone know of a company w/ a boat that can accomodate a private trip this size?

No doubt about it, I'd head to Port Aransas and go out on the Pelican with Captain John Brennan, operating out of Deep Sea Headquarters. Great captain and crew, very hardworking and dedicated to finding fish, which he usually does. Your main problem is that most people that charter a trip with them want to fish with him on his boat and you might not be able to get a trip on such short notice, although since you are talking about June, you might be able to do it. I know in the fall he gets booked up with charters pretty fast with people wanting to go out and catch tuna.

I could not agree more HEAD TO Port A. Deep Sea Headquarters is a fine outfit that you cannot go wrong with. I would also highly recomend the Dolphin Docks fished with them for years with good results.

Lastly a phone call I would make is to Fisherman's Wharf. I do not recomend the Scat Cat or Wharf Cat but I think a captain by the name of Marvin Honer (sp?) runs one of those boats. If this is the Marvin that used to run a boat out of the Dolphin Docks, left for South Padre and now has come back I would definately consider fishing with him.

DSH in Port A as mentioned. They have a good set up. Call me if you need more info or have a question about any other Dock in Texas.

Captian John does have an opening in June as of Friday.
